UX Lead  December 2013 – October 2014

As Orbis’ online retail initiative, Orbis Access has a mission of empowering everyday people around the world to invest for the long-term, by providing scalable access to high value-for-money investments and a best-in-class client experience.

My first engagement at Orbis focused on delivering account opening journeys; orders and transactional processes; supported with alerting patterns and KYC processes; this was a self-managing a client-facing role as sole UX.

UX Lead  March 2016 – October 2016

My second slice of work for this company was to shape the platform through four core toolsets: Requirement gathering and user feedback to assess the design task. Research and analysis phase to interrogate and flesh out potential solutions. Rapid prototyping using sketches, wireframes and prototypes to hone the idea and garner stakeholder buy-in. Finally user testing workshops of fully functioning prototypes to evaluate the solution to gather data for further iterations. The focus of my work was to restructure the home page, refining the account sign-up process and ISA offering. Additional projects for South African partner company Allan Gray.
